Along with the pastor, the pastoral council provides vision and direction to the parish community and establishes pastoral priorities to meet the parish’s needs in the areas of Word, Worship, Community, and Service as directed in the diocesan document, We Walk by Faith.  Council members provide responsive and caring leadership that is a visible example of cooperation, healing presence, and trust.  Council members must be actively participating in the sacramental life of the Church.  After a discernment process, members serve for three years.  Participation is expected at eleven meetings a year and various other parish and ecumenical events.
